Lakes Detailing is a family-owned mobile detailing business based out of Wixom, Michigan. It all started in 2020 during covid with a dream to provide my city with affordable high quality detailing solutions to those who need them most. More About Us!
Hi, my name is Vance Carcone, and I am the sole owner of Lakes Detailing, which I started in Late July of 2020. Two of my passions are detailing and traveling, so one day I decided to merge them together and create my own mobile detailing company. I enjoy detailing boats, cars, motorcycles, and am always looking to expand on that. I service All of southeast Michigan, offering affordable details for any budget!
We are certified installers with System-x and IGL coatings, offering a wide variety of ceramic coating packages to protect your vehicles, boats, bikes, and off-road vehicles! Our coatings have in house warranties to ensure your coatings last the estimated time.

Lakes Detailing wants to serve your business needs! If you are a wholesaler, dealership of any size, marina of any size, or a business with fleet vehicles - we want to take care of you! we have preset detail packages designed specifically to cover an array of services to get you cars up to gold standard, including complete interior to exterior paint, Ceramic & Teflon coating services. if you are on a budget or maybe don't need a deep clean, and need something simple, we offer custom packages to fit your business needs. Don't hesitate to contact us for prices, custom package quotes, and general estimates.

Additionally, we offer pick up and drop off services for those who are limited on space, a free courtesy to those within a 15-mile radius of Wolverine Lake, MI. Anyone outside of that range will pay additional 15$ travel fee to cover business costs.

Dealerships, marinas, auto-related businesses, etc. will be subject to filling out a pre-pick up/ pre-detail inspection form. This form covers any damage that might be present inside or outside, either cosmetically or mechanically. once the job is complete, another form will be filled out stating you are satisfied with the results of the detail. Anything found in cars, boats, etc. will be returned to the business / business owner / or previous customer (in the case of a dealership trade in). We take any form of payment (cash, check, credit card, venmo, etc) and will provide both digital and physical receipts for bookkeeping purposes.

When it comes to cleaning your vehicle, we take serious pride in our work and the products we use. We only use top of the line products that will thoroughly clean without causing any damage to the materials in or on the car.

Before each detail, we ask that clients please remove any personal belongings from the vehicle. This ensures that nothing goes missing or is damaged while we service your vehicle. Clients will be subject to filling out a pre-pick up/pre-detail inspection form. This form covers any damage that might be present inside or outside, either cosmetically or mechanically. Once a job is complete, another form will be filled out stating you are satisfied with the results of the detail. Anything personal found during the detail will be bagged up and the client will be notified. A 24-hour warranty period is allotted for clients to report anything that is not up to par quality-wise

COATING INFORMATION
Here at Lakes Detailing we offer paint protection coatings, both Ceramic and Teflon! What makes these coatings so special and desirable? The coatings offer protection against outdoor elements such as:

Our coatings come rated for 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 6 years, and 7 years. These rating times are subject to whether you do regular cleaning maintenance to your coated vehicle. While our coatings protect your paint, they also enhance your paint making removing the dirt easier, while also maintaining a deep glossy look.

Our coatings do not require any kind of paint correction prior to application, meaning the surface just needs to be prepped and it can be coated! For pricing on 1 step and 2 step coating packages, please inquire more. We recommend an in-person estimate for all 1 step and 2 step paint correction jobs.

We require that our clients do a paint inspection with us and sign off on it prior to and after completion of the coating instillation. A full 24 hours is needed for the job completion and the drying phase. A full week is needed for the full curing phase to complete. Our coatings are warrantied in house, and our pricing includes warranty / maintenance washes. All coating clients will receive a booklet covering all the do's and don'ts of having a coating, along with what will void the warranty and what wont.
